I previously had a hand me down 8qt Professional bowl lift model and bought this 5 qt model instead because baking for only 2 people doesn't require any bigger of a mixer.... it's lighter weight, easier to use with the tilt head, and has more accessories options available.... like the ice cream maker!

I love my kitchenaid! I love all the attachments that can go with it! I already love cooking, but it makes cooking even more fun. I find myself looking for things to make so I can use my kitchenaid.

I've had 3 kitchen aid mixers SO FAR!!! Ready for my 4th!!! My switch broke!!! Have to unplug to stop!!!! Has the quality gone down!!!??? My other ones...the motor burned up! They don't last for me!!!! I use proper attachments!

I bought this after being at a cooking school in Italy for a week, where so many of the things we cooked used this mixer. Have begun by making a couple cakes and cookies, just ordering the pasta making attachment to do more with it! Very happy with this purchase

I got this KitchenAid mixer as a birthday present from my husband two weeks ago. So far I've used it nearly every day making whipped cream (using the whisk), sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, lemon merinque pie, quiche, etc. I have used the whisk and beater attachments so far. The whisk is not dishwasher safe, which I thought was a little weird, but the beater and dough hook are. The base of the wire whisk seems to want to oxidize, but I haven't had any issues with it so far. The power of the mixer is great! I made whipped cream in a couple minutes. So much better than doing it with a hand mixer! Everything cleans up pretty easily. The mixer is a little loud I think, but matched my expectations. Its quieter than a hand-beater but still noisy. The capacity is great! I haven't even gotten close to maxing out the bowl yet.

This mixer came in beautiful condition. I only had one issue with it. The mixer needed to be adjusted with a screwdriver in order to have the beater be able to take all the butter off the sides of the bowl. Once I reached out to KitchenAid, they gave me exact information to rectify the issue. I love my mixer!

I've wanted a standing mixer since I was 11 years old and knew it had to be a KitchenAid! And my 11 year old self is so very happy I finally made this purchase! The biscuits, cookies, pies, and whipped cream I've made so far have been a breeze and I'm so excited for the future recipes I'll put together! I am a huge baker. I love creating new recipes and baking for family and friends. I was a little hesitant but the first time I used the mixer I was in heaven!! My buttercream was the best it's ever tasted, so light and fluffy!! It has even helped when making family dinners. It's very versatile, extremely easy to use (even my husband has used it!) and I will be buying the additions very soon!
