The feed tube on the lid is not sealed so food debris gets into it and cannot be cleaned as it does not come apart. This is a food safety issue as this debris could have pathogens that could get into other foods that I use this processor for that do not get cooked.

I love this kitchen aid food processor, I make my twins baby food and this helps me do really big batches. It is noisy, but just like a food processor would be. I love how easy and quick it is. I love how this food processor can be used for multiple things in the kitchen. This had also been a great hit to make homemade gucalmole and salsa. I love the style and color combination. I love how easy it is to clean . I highly recommend it.

Food processors are such handy kitchen appliances- great multitasking machine and a huge time saver! After receiving my first as a wedding gift almost 10 years ago from my mother in law, it was time to replace mine. KitchenAid has always been one of my top trusted brands, so a food processor from them seemed like a great option!
The slicing and shredding blade inserts will be great for all the fresh veggies from our garden this summer. I use food processors for a little of baking mixing and the 7 cup bowl should be a good fit for most recipes. It comes with a dough blade, but I'm not sure how much dough it will really fit well.
This KitchenAid food processor is a solid machine that should meet my kitchen needs!

I absolutely love this food processor! It works great for all my needs! Love the compact design and the added safety features as well! It saves me so much time on prep for my recipes or meals and does a great job on top of it. What used to take me 10 minutes on one item to cut up, I can do in a few seconds! Easy clean up and love that it stores all the parts inside of it. I would definitely recommend for others to try!

The KitchenAid food processor plus has quickly become one of my favorite appliances. It makes a big statement without taking up a lot of room. It chops, slices, purees, shreds and even kneads dough. Super easy to use and everything is dishwasher safe. Besides vegetables I've used it to make salsa, pesto, biscuits and more. I also appreciate the large capacity cup which is a definite time saver and it's not obnoxiously loud. I highly recommend you let this processor do the work for you.

I have seen the light! I never knew the joys of owning a food processor, but I could not be happier as a newfound member of the tribe. This machine has drastically reduced the amount of time I spend in the kitchen on meal prep. It is so quick and efficient! I am proud to report that I have used every accessory successfully (and incessantly); I've sliced potatoes (with two options for thickness), chopped onions, grated cheese and made pesto. As if that wasn't enough, I also used it to knead dough. Unfortunately, while the bowl has a large capacity where just about anything else is concerned, I could have used a larger bowl for the dough. Nonetheless, I managed the job in batches. I bake bread weekly and honestly hate the process of kneading; it's time consuming and exhausting. This accomplished the job as well as I could, in the blink of an eye! Moreover, I was worried that the dough might strain the machine too much, but it stood up to the test!
In terms of other notable features, the setup is quick and easy. Once you have chosen your blade (be careful, they're sharp), you have three speeds to choose from all of which are clearly labeled and self-explanatory. If you are making pesto, or any sauce, there's a handy opening in the pusher to add oil. Genius! The integrated lid is another clever design aspect that just makes life in the kitchen easier. And don't forget that it's easy to clean i.e. dishwasher safe. Lastly, I got the food processor in a beautiful red tone. It of course can be stowed on a countertop, but that might not work with everyone's decor. Thankfully, it was designed with easy storage in mind. All of the parts fit inside the bowl so that all parts of the appliance can be stored and located easily in a cabinet.
I now use this food processor daily and cannot believe I never thought to get one sooner. I cannot think of anyone who couldn't benefit from this food processor.

Heavy duty, well made and quiet! 7 cups is actually more than I need for me and my husband but will be great when I'm serving for more. Very quiet. Blades are sharp; I was able to chop garlic and onion and herbs within literal seconds. It is fairly tall so I have to disassemble to store but all the components fit perfectly inside the enclosure so that's convienent. Love that it has a handle and that they made it so easy to assemble. It does shake a bit on high but I think that's because its upright in design. Nothing alarming. Wish it had one more higher speed but the pulse option should be fine! It does have a sensor on the lid so if there is no pressure or it is not properly secured (hooked) the blade stops. Also has storage for the cord underneath.

I like the body frame and the different type of accessories it has great sharpness to cut the fruits and vegetable , it also have blade to cut the cheese . I like that it has individual blades which has different purpose and usages from veggies to meat ,to fruits to cheese.

This food processor would be a great addition to any kitchen. It has plenty of space with a 7 cup bowl, 4 different blades for all your shedding, chopping and slicing needs. It even has a dough blade.
I love that it includes a oil drizzle hole for when you are making dressings and sauces. The processor is easy to use and even easier to clean. A perfect gift for a cook new or novice.

My first reaction to removing this from the box was "It's so pretty!" The bold red lined with silver screams "Look at me!"
So, yes its pretty, but how does it work? It works Amazing!!
It has so many great features such as the easy to remove the bowl. It literally just snaps on and off, no twisting or turning. (I always thought my old one would break the way I fought to get the bowl off) The lid snap is is metal and locks the lid tight in place, the best feature by far would be its self storing! The blades all fit conveniently inside the bowl safely for easy storage. No worry of lost parts or cut fingers.
This is perfect in so many ways. There are so many uses. I have made everything from bread dough,chopped veges for soup, grated cheese to even making dog treats!
This is so well made and the design features are perfect for all my cooking, baking needs. Slice, dice, grate, mix and blend all in one great small appliance! This is one appliance that wont get tucked away in a cabinet. I will be using it daily and its pretty red color matches my kitchen decor! I absolutely love it!

I had a smaller food processor, one that clicks in place, that quit working on me. After some research I decided on this one. I've used it several times now and it delivered each time. I havent used all of the attachments, but its good to know that I have the option if I get adventurous enough to use them. My favorite aspect is that it is considerably quieter than other food processors i've used. Overall, I would highly reccomend it!

I tried the KitchenAid food processor. I have actually never owned a processor before and after using this, I don't know why I haven't. I love that this is not huge. It is the perfect size and easy to store on my countertop. It is very easy to use the processor and clean it up. I'm always clumsy cutting veggies, fruits, etc. and this makes it so much easier for me to do. My 12 year old is really getting into cooking. He tried the mashed potato recipe inside because he loves them, but hates having to chop and mash the potatoes. This was so much easier for him to prepare in the processor. We can't wait to try many more things with it. Would definitely recommend. I also like that everything stores nicely together. I also like that they give many tips inside the instruction manual.

I brought the Kitchen Aid 7 cup food processor and I love it! I love that it has a dough attachment because we always make dough by hand and now we can just put it in the processor and it mixes it up! It is quiet and quick in getting the job done!

I am loving this processor! It is more than enough to work for my family of 4 and I use a processor daily. The extra attachments that came with this are super impressive as my old processor only allowed us to either shred or slice. We've even made ice cream with this one! Kitchenaid is one of my favorite brands when it comes to kitchen appliances.
This food processor doesn't disappoint either. I was using a small chopper before I tried this processor. Huge difference!
Other than being more functional and larger, this processor is much faster and results are much cleaner than the chopper. The attachments are high quality and the blades are really sharp. The dough blade is my favorite.
Its easy to clean as well since most parts come apart with ease and are also dishwasher safe.
The bright red color looks majestic on my counter top and I love this machine.

I liked the 7cup food proccessor, its motor is very powerful and the job is done quicker too, the jar is not too big nor small , its perfect for my family, i diced the veggies for whole family in one go! And the blades are strong and durable! I liked the ultra tight seal feature as it prevents from any leak! Also it has the high, low and pulse feature to adjusr the speed according to my need dependind upon if i want to dice,or even shred. It makes my cooking process easily, easy to clean.especially its so easy to storage! U can put all the blades and stuff in the bowl n close it. The whole processor itself didnt take much space in my kitchen! I love the color of the processor too,its a very beautiful red . Its a great kitchen tool and its messfree too

I received this KitchenAid food processor. It's 7 cups/1.7 liters. Super easy to use with 4 attachments: multipurpose, medium slice/shred, thick slice, and dough. Easy to store with all of the attachments in the bowl. It has an easy twist-free, one click assembly which I love! Much easier to use than any I've had before! The bowl is very easy to clean and the parts are dishwasher safe! Totally recommend this food processor for the novice cook or the experienced chef!

I love this food processor it is the best processor I have ever owned it is has high speed it chops great . I have made coleslaw with it and biscuits I love how it has a dough hook with it to . Has low speed high speed and pulse the lid and the whole container just clicks off you don't have to fight with the lid like most food processors . I love how the lid stays on the processor it clicks on and off. All the blades are very sharp and the best part all the blades nest inside the processor for easy storage. This is the best and it is made by kitchenAid I will be useing this almost every day everyone needs to get this food processor you will not regret it. The thing I loved about this processor the best it is Soo quite you can hardly hear it all the other ones I own are very loud not this one it is great .

I have been using my blender as a food processor for a very long time. My husband recently took notice and told me to just buy one already and get a good one. This one is so great. Love all the added attachments so you can do multiple things but the best feature is the easy 1 click bowl design. You literally have 1 thing to do to out this together. I make oreo balls all the time, so I'm usually crushing cookies then adding the cream cheese. With this, I can crush the cookies then add the cream cheese all in the same bowl without dirtying more dishes. Next up , making my own salsa. I cant wait to see what all this thing can do. With a 7 quart bowl the possibilities are endless. My husband works midnights and even said he didnt even hear me using it while he was sleeping. Great bonus on the noise level!

I will start by saying you can tell this is a high quality product just by looking at it. I am so pleased with this food processor. It has cut my time prepping food in half. It's super user friendly, it's easy to clean, and easy to store. I like the variety accessories it comes with, and that some are dual use. I know I will be using all of them. I also love the fact that it's not overly loud.

I love KitchenAid products and this food processor has made me love them even more. So far, it has been amazing. It is not only the perfect size and fits perfectly well on the counter, but it is also heavy duty and processes food SO well! Everything I've tried making in it has been made with ease. This machine is a little bit noisy but it's not too bad. I love the color of it too.. it stands out and looks fancy! There are 3 buttons on it that you can press. High, low and Off/Pulse. You just press down on whichever one you want to use, and off you go! Very easy to use and figure out. Most of the product is made from plastic but it's not the cheap plastic. It's made very well! I can tell because it doesn't really scratch or anything. The bowl itself is very easy to attach to the base. You just set it on top and it clicks into place. And then when you are done, it unlocks when you pull it up.
This processor comes with 4 different blades. The main blade, a dough blade, a medium slicing disc and a thick slicing disc. ALL of them are easy to attach inside and all of them are very sharp! This makes them better because they cut through food easier. This processor is also very easy to clean. All of the parts except the base can be put into the dishwasher! This makes life so much easier especially if you are busy.
All in all, this is a great food processor. Like I said, the only downside is that it's kind of noisy. But the machine itself works VERY well! I have been recommending this to friends and family. If you want a good quality food processor, try this one! You won't regret it!

First things first, this food processor is pretty enough to leave on the counter for display. Love the jewel-toned red! One of the features I appreciated was the inclusion of a handle for easy maneuvering. I haven't had an opportunity to do anything particularly heavy duty but it was up to the task of crushing graham crackers for a crust. There were a few times I needed to jiggle it a little to let it grab larger chunks to pulverize but it did a pretty good job. I also love having the option of multiple different blades for different tasks.

This appliance is life changing. I'm able to make pizza, pasta and pie dough so much quicker then I have been. I also use it to slice vegetables and the large feed tube makes it so easy and fast to have perfectly sliced vegetables. This processor is so easy to assemble and clean. Since all the blades and discs fit inside the bowl it makes storing it that much easier. I am so impressed with this appliance and I highly recommend it.

I was underestimating how large this would be. However, it's perfect for my needs and I love the size of it. I am a fan of the KitchenAid name and own many of their products and have never been disappointed. The power behind this food processor definitely did not disappoint. I have used this to grate down toffee bits even and it worked like a charm. Directions are easy to follow and works by just the touch of a button so it's great for even someone who doesn't do a lot in the kitchen. This thing shreds, chops, purees and even slices and has 3 speeds. Most everything I have done I've use low or high. I've personally not had a use yet for the pulse option. The LED control lights up so it's easy to see and read. The lid locks in place so no worries about that coming off or loose during the process. Washes easily by hand (no dishwasher here so I cannot comment on how well it washes in one but I saw it was dishwasher safe.) I have been using this multiple times a week and haven't found anything I dislike yet.

This is a great little food processor. The only downside is the plastic look on the outside. It makes it look a little cheap and that doesn't represent the product itself because it works so good! My favorite thing to make is homemade salsa. It works great for so many things!

I have only use this machine one time, but it has come in handy. I processed a full meal out of it. We had taco and fajita night. I was able to have everything cut up for me. Saved me a ton of time. I even cut up the avocado.

I love cooking and this KitchenAid food processor is such a great help in the kitchen. Not only does it look nice, it cuts a lot of time doing prep work. This both looks and works amazing. It is so simple to both use and clean along with working quickly. I love that it comes with all the attachments I could need as well. It is such a great appliance to add to my kitchen and keep out on display for all my friends and family to see.

I like this food processor very well. it works like a charm and shreds/cuts and chops items very well per my needs. the chute is a bit small, so some of the larger items (onions/cabbage) etc. needs to be cut into smaller pieces. which is fine as the cutting/chopping and shredding is done perfectly.
one of the great feature i like is the accessories fitting in the unit for storage. and don't have to keep them outside on a side.
i love kitchenaid products as they're built to perfection and are rarely defective.
Another reason is the shredding of cheese works very well in this. i've had other brands before, where they were usually hit or miss.
I'd recommend.

Love this food processor and I'm beyond impressed with this machine. I've used this food processor several times now and love all the features it has. It comes with a multi purpose blade, medium shredding/slicing blade, thick slice blade as well with a dough blade. It has a simple base, with just three buttons low, high, and off/pulse. I like simple. Very easy to assemble, disassemble and clean. Heavy base, lighter weight plastic top. I really like how the top fits onto the base. The bowl capacity is 7 cups, which is plenty for my needs. I have made pesto sauce, salsa, minced onions and also sliced potatoes. The motor is strong and gets the job done very quickly! I love it! I highly recommend this food processor.

I am in love with my new processor, I have wanted one for a long time, and now I can finally shred and slice with ease. The one click bowl is awesome, just click into place and you are good to go. The blades work great for anything from shredding carrots for a salad, chopping nuts for banana bread, or even mixing up dough for cookies. When finished simply put pieces in the dishwasher. It's not loud like you would expect either. Another thing I like is the storage is so simple, the blades go inside and the cord easily wraps up under the bottom. Like I said I am in love and everyone in my house is happy because I have been cooking different foods more often lately.

I have never owned a processor. I have only used it once, making some mayonnaise, and for a rookie it was easier than I thought and the mayo came out great. All I need is a labeled jar and no one but me would know. I have other KitchenAid items and you can't go wrong with this company.

I received this food processor at the perfect time. My other one had just quit working so I was so excited to be able to sample this one and I LOVE IT. It works so much better than my old one. I have used it every single day.

This processor works great. It slices, dices, shreds, kneads and purees. I made hummus which came out so creamy. It also worked well making almond butter. I like how easy it is to clean, use and store.

I like KitchenAid but disappointed that the first time I used it, it quit. I chopped onions, bell peppers, carrots and was on the celery when it quit. I tried everything and it will not work on any of the 3 buttons. There's power to it because the buttons light but a no go

Very good for chopping up my vegetables used this processor for processing a variety of vegetables and cheese. The slicing blades are very sharp and sliced raw carrots with ease. It grates cheese but struggled slightly grating sharp cheddar. overall worked well. Cleanup is better in dishwasher.

I cook for my family every day of the week and the KitchenAid 7 cup food processor has saved me a lot of time having to prep certain things. The unit itself is very nice. The red color really makes my kitchen pop, however I do wish the red part of the device was metal and not plastic. It's easy to store away since you can put the tools right in the bowl, but I like to keep it on the counter since it is used so often. It's relatively lightweight, just a bit over 6 pounds. I love that it's so easy to clean in the dishwasher.
The motor is pretty quiet and the blades do their job slicing and dicing. It could benefit from a bit more power, but it does what it's supposed to do. My kitchen has wide countertops, so I wish the cord was a bit longer, but I really like that it has a compartment to hide the cord when it's not in use.
Probably my favorite thing about it so far is the dough attachment. It's perfect for making homemade pizza and pie crust!
